My 2nd Baby Shower

Today I built a diaper cake this is not the first one but it

is a lot of fun to put together first you start off with 36 new born diapers and 56 size one diapers and a lot of rubber bands. A few toys and ribbon and one receiving blanket, Power, Oil a few items that every Mother needs for her New Baby.

The bottle of wine is for Tara she has no idea that it is in their.

It took me about 4 hours and one trip to the store but it is done and I think it will be a hit at the Baby Shower.

we had a visitor who just thought everything was a little to much

I would never think to put an outfit on my dog but I have been out in the rain walking with Libby She get very wet
so call me nuts but I don't want a cold sick dog. We do many miles
rain or shine.

We are leaving Florence today we take the train I can't wait. This is Costanza who tought us to cook at the Villa I should be able to cook several of the items she tought us.

We have arrived in Germany

This is the plan that will take my Mother, Brother and myself home
It was 9+ hours in the air. Boy was I sick after landing it took me another
12 to 15 hours to recover.

Counting the Days

I haven't updated this blog since the 49 game which was long time ago but everyone made it though the Holidays just fine. Would like to thank everyone for their gifts if I haven't already. I did work each and every one of the holidays at the Hospital but I was able to spend one day with my kids and Grand baby's all 5 of them that was fun everyone had a good time .

Just finished a very good book by Nicholas Sparks called the The Guardian it was very good the kind of book you don't want to end.

I have several knitting projects that I'm working on A baby sweater for our new little that is due sometime in Feb. 09 and another Aran sweater in gray for me a scarf for someone in the family The Red sweater for Mom is also almost done just need the button band put on I promise photo's soon.

Must of my days have been thinking about our trip. What needs to be done but thanks to my Brother who has done a lot of the work ordering Flights, Trains and Hotels for us We are just about ready. It just to bad we can't bring all of your dogs with us . One thing I'm happy about is being able to take the train from Florance to Venice their is just something about being on a train the ride from Washington DC to West Virginia was the best part of my trip to DC I loved it. although their were a lot of things in DC I liked and some day I would like to go back but the train was great. I'm sure this trip will be very nice I'm so looking forward to it.
