Good news

The good news Dr. Jen called and told us Libby had a Benign Papullomatous thank god it was benign. That was the best news I could have for my Birthday.

Another year older I started the day like any other Monday with a weigh in -.2 pounds I was not to upset since my Brother Ron and Edward stopped by on Sunday and took Mom and I out for dinner down on Cannery Row which was very good.

At WW Tara lost 1.6 and Kandace did -.2 Tara is very happy and seems to be very much into this little contest we have going. After WW we walked 5 miles it was great the sun was out Libby did a good job I found the hill going back to the Del Monte Shopping Center was hard we made it up without stopping.

Thanks to Mom for the red Nikon Camera and Ron for the Dog Book and hand cream and Tara for lunch and balloons. Barbara sent me a Dog Lamp he is very cute must have come up with a name.

Mom and I went to her friends house today and I was able to check out the garden. It was so nice pays to have a gardener.

I also went to the Monarch on Monday and signed up for Sock contest this should be fun I can use a pattern or come up with my own design we will see I have until Sept. 1 to complete this project.

Well know I'm another year older must say I feel petty good for 59 years old I still have all my hair my teeth are good shape I'm eating right and getting healthy. So I think I'll stick around for another few years. Looking forward to next year hope my sister's and my brother will be able to go to Germany next year with Mom and I. Miss Libby had surgery today

I have run out things to do today to keep me busy so that I don't think about poor Libby today she is at the Vet's having surgery I spent several hours in the yard working on filling the holes the gofer is making. Libby has this strange white thing on her tongue Mom and I have spent the past 3 weeks hoping that the med's they gave her would make it go away but it didn't work and it seemed to be getting bigger so they were able to take it out today and we will have wait 2 weeks to see what it is. This waiting is as bad as when they do surgery on a family member. Monday we walked 3 miles with Tara and Nathan. Talking about Tara she won this week another -4 for a total of 60 pounds lost. MY MY what a great job she is doing Her friend Kandace lost a pound she know has lost 14 total but then she only been going 4 weeks. I lost 2.4 for a total of 28 So it was a good week we all lost.

Vet just called Libby is awake and doing fine she will be ready to pick up at 3:30 I have about hour before

I go so let me tell you what I knitted this week a very nice scarf the pattern is called Seaweed and Shells I used a Angora Merino which I purchased at Stitches West 08 the pattern is 12 rows repeated 12 times it turned out very nice

I'll put this away in the Xmas's box someone will like this. I'm off the get my sweet dog.

My 3rd Aran Sweater

My aran sweater that I have worked on since December 07 is done and look who likes it a lot.....

Mom looks so good in this color I'm so happy that she likes it after all that work it's nice that it turned out I used a Blueberry color and the yarn was from Wool from the Andes which I purchased at Knit Picks and I had just enough yarn. Last night we went to Peets coffee shop were a few of the Ravelry members were meeting and knitting away it was fun hope we get to visit with them again for the non- knitters that take the time to read this Ravelry is a web group from all over the world and you must join in order to get in I'm still learning to use the web site so I have not posted to much of my work.

But I'm sure you are all waiting to hear who won this week at WeightWatchers.

This week the winner is Tara's Friend I have must ask her if I can use her name with a -1 pound

Tara has 2 wins and I have 1. remember we have until the end of June. Tara and I gained +2 and +4 .

I downloaded a new clock just for my Brother....hope he likes it.

Looking for forward to the weekend it's the Good Old Days in Pacific Grove and I'm off and we will have Nathan all weekend. Looking forward to it. Until next time have a good week everyone.
